We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The CNC Lathe Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. This is a full-time position in our tool shop.
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of dimensions
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Requirements:
- Know G & M Code
-Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and techniques
- Knowledge of machining principles and techniques
