POSITION OVERVIEW:
Immediate openings for experienced CNC Grinder Operators for a full-time job opportunity in Indianapolis, IN.
JOB DUTIES:
- Operate various CNC controlled machines within the T&S production facility,
- Make constant quality checks throughout the day on parts.
- Make off-set and wheel changes to CNC machine setup parameters as needed to maintain quality.
- Use Guardian ERP system to control part quantities and location.
- Operate CNC controlled machines per established programs for the parts written by T&S Manufacturing Engineering Staff.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of previous experience in a CNC production grinding facility, job shop, or tool room.
- Will also consider 1- 2 years of Vocational training.
- Exhibits strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand prints.
- Ability to operate multiple CNC at the same time.
- Ability to read and understand all necessary measuring devices to verify parts meet all applicable requirements (ex: calipers, micrometers, depth mics etc.)
- Occasional lifting or moving heavy materials.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods.
