Cna/Caregiver

ACTi-Kare, the premier provider of senior and home care services, is currently seeking experienced caregivers to assist adult clients in their homes. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. Flexible hours - part-time to full-time opportunities available.

If you enjoy working with mature adults and making a difference in their lives, we are looking for compassionate CNAs, PCAs, and Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan.

ACTi-Kare Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with ADLs and IADLs
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany patients to the doctor's office or to the hospital when needed
• Medication reminders
• Assist with clients' personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Skills:

• Proven working experience as a home health aide, CNA, or PCA
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Caring and compassionate personality

Qualifications:

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Must enjoy working with seniors
• Must be able to pass required background checks
• Valid driver’s license
• Current CPR certificate and Nurse Aide Certificate preferred
