General Duties
- Offer compassionate resident care as needed or as ordered by the registered nurse.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Communicate any significant changes in the patient's condition to the Registered Nurse as soon as possible.
- Assist with everyday chores such as bathing, clothing, grooming, dental and nail care, and changing bedding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and any other chores that are assigned to you.
- Assist and supervise patients while they take their prescribed medication.
- Check and record patient intake and output on designated nursing worksheets.
- Aide in the rotation or movement of patients
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
Minimum Qualification
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- BLS/First Aid Certification
- Current proof of recent TB test
- Able to undergo a criminal background check
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and the flu
- Physically fit to lift or transfer patients as needed
- Dedicated, passionate, and can find meaning in helping others
- Requirements may vary based on State requirements
