CNA (Jacksonville)

Come work for an awesome Pediatrics company as a CNA! Must have: CNA License, Covid vaccine and BLS Certification. Must work Weekends. 20-25 hours a week.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient information and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff

Skills:
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Proficient in basic life support techniques
- Ability to operate medical equipment, such as ventilators and catheters
- Familiarity with gastric lavage procedures
- Experience in home care or nursing home settings is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
