Job Description Summary:
- Provides high quality, compassionate clinical care to patients
- Facilitate quality patient care and assist professional and/or nursing staff in performing Endoscopy procedures.
- Works to increase the departments ability to effectively maintain the daily schedule along with safe and appropriate patient services.
- Must possess appropriate personality characteristics to serve patients and families in a positive, professional, helpful manner.
- Responsible for cleaning and routine care and maintenance of scopes and equipment used in the Endoscopy Unit.
- This position requires the ability and means to travel to various locations including, but not limited to other sites.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Language - Must be able to read and write English at high school level. Must communicate effectively. Must be able to read numbers and do basic math calculations.
- CMA, CNA or Endoscopy Tech
- Current BLS (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Transportation. Must have transportation and ability to travel to all DHS locations as assigned.
