Position Overview:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on our 8-week contract assignment, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents. Battle Creek Nursing Home is known for its supportive environment and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal place for both residents and healthcare professionals alike. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Personalized Care: Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) during the 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM shift, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, ensuring the comfort and dignity of residents.

2. Health Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments and report any changes in residents' health to the supervising nurse, contributing to the overall care plan.

3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with nursing and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

4. Compassionate Communication: Establish rapport with residents and their families, maintaining open and effective communication to address their needs and concerns.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, adhering to agency policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

· Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Nebraska.

· Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work the 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM shift. Start January 2024 and PRN till then.

· Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
