Lourdes "Loopy" Elder was diagnosed with a chronic health condition, no longer being able to live alone, but still wanting to remain at home. At the time, three generations were living under one roof, facing time-intensive concerns of maintaining Loopy's health, with daily challenges of demanding careers and the needs of young children. The offerings of in-home health care services left much to be desired and we felt compelled to make an improvement.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Elder Crew is seeking experienced CNAs in the Southington/Plantsville area for per diem staffing solutions. CNAs will be working at a skilled nursing home, assisted living facilities, and/or group homes, or with private duty clients. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: interacting directly with our clients, providing comfort, and assistance with activities of daily living. We are searching not only for dedicated and skilled CNAs, but caregivers who are compassionate and can communicate with families and partnering medical professionals.

Candidate must have the following:
- Competent in managing ADL’s
- Pass criminal background check
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Candidates must have dementia experience, strong communication skills, and an overall happy and pleasant demeanor
