C.N.A perform the basic functions of resident care and carries out all assignments given by the Charge Nurse responsible for Unit, Supervisor or Director of Nursing. Certified Nursing Assistant are accountable for all resident care he/she administers during his/her tour of duty and adheres to all standards of nursing care. Aides execute standards of nursing care in a conscientious and considerate manner. Functions as a member of the health care team and promotes and supports cohesiveness among co-workers.
Responsibilities:
- Oral/Hygiene
- Am Care/Pm Care
- Make occupied and unoccupied bed
- Assist resident to and from bathroom or bedside commode
- Positioning Resident
- Meet Resident nutritional needs
- Admission of Resident/Discharge
- Transfer of resident
