Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our patients. Under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs), CNAs assist with daily living activities, monitor patients' vital signs, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities:
1. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
2. Help residents with mobility, including transferring between bed and wheelchair, and walking assistance.
3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
4. Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatments as directed.
5. Ensure residents' safety and comfort at all times.
6. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
7. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration for residents who require assistance.
8. Keep patient rooms and common areas clean and organized.
9. Follow facility protocols and procedures for infection control.
10. Report any changes in residents' condition or behavior to the nursing staff promptly.
11. Document care provided accurately and thoroughly in patients' records.
Requirements:
1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from an accredited program.
2. Current CPR and first aid certification.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients safely.
7. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
8. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
9. Compliance with all health and safety regulations.
10. Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
