Responsibilities:

• Assist pediatric healthcare professionals with daily patient care tasks, including but not limited to, measuring vital signs, taking patient histories, and preparing examination rooms.

• Provide compassionate care and support to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during medical procedures and treatments.

• Assist with the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate and updated medical records, documenting patient information, treatments administered, and any observed changes in health condition.

• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including doctors, nurses, and other medical staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and their families, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing necessary education and guidance.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.

• Previous experience working in a pediatric or family practice setting is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages and their families.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

• Compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to work with children and their families.

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
