CNA 2 - OB Perinatal Special Care Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, day shift opening (7am-7:30pm, and 6am - 6:30pm various day of the week are necessary 3, 12 hour shift sper week) with rotating weekends.

Extra Incentives:

In this position you will:

  • Contribute to a high functioning team
  • Meaningfully advance post-operative recovery of surgical patients.
  • Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights
  • Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests
  • Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices
  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference
  • Other duties as assigned The Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training - Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year - Experience as a CNA 2.
