DESCRIPTION

EAS seeks a mid-level to senior construction materials testing technician. The position requires a commitment to personal and professional growth and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Construction observation and monitoring, construction materials testing (soils, concrete, aggregates, pavements, masonry, structural steel, etc.), special inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Mid to Senior Level Experience Required - 5+ years
• Required Certifications: ACI & at minimum 1 ICC, SCDOT, NICET & AWS certification required, with capability of obtaining additional certifications within no greater than 6 months of date of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong team mentality required.
