ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The Hub

The Hub is a psychosocial clubhouse model program serving adults with serious mental illness. The Hub’s mission is to support people living with mental illness in their recovery journey. The Hub provides a restorative environment for people whose lives have been severely disrupted due to their mental illness, and who need the support of others who are in recovery and who believe that mental illness is treatable. The Hub adheres to the belief that every member has the potential to recover from the effects of mental illness in order to lead a personally satisfying life as an integrated member of society. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• The Hub operates Monday-Friday 8-5 and occasionally offers activities and outings in the evening and on weekends.
• The Hub offers opportunities to build friendships, engage in social and recreational activities, explore employment and educational goals, develop advocacy skills and work side by side with Hub staff on the tasks related to the operation of The Hub.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Broad range of ground maintenance such as landscaping and outdoor tasks for 4 seasons
• Indoor maintenance tasks as needed
• Able to handle various types of equipment and cleaning supplies
• Maintains safe workplace environment
• When working with facilities, ensure trash containers are ready for pick-up; provide access to vendors/contractors and locked-out tenants when directed by Facilities Manager.
• Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
• Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
• Additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education:  HS diploma or GED

Experience: Prior cleaning/maintenance experience helpful, but not required. Lived experience or in recovery from mental health or mental health and substance use strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION*:

$14.0608/hour min. to $21.0912/hour max., dependent upon experience.

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as, adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
