The primary responsibility of the Floor Supervisor is to handle Club operations by operating the Club in a smooth and efficient manner in the absence of the Clubhouse Manager, Assistant Manager, and his/her specific department manager. The Floor Supervisor ensures all members receive exceptional and professional service. In the absence of previously named management, the Floor Supervisor will serve as the final decision maker in all things concerning the welfare and the safety of the Club, its members, and its employees. The Floor Supervisor serves as a positive team member with the Restaurant department and other Club departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures excellent customer service, superb public relations, and makes all members and guests always feel comfortable and welcome.
· Serves as a coach, mentor, and role model for fellow employees.
- Ensures the proper workflow and output occurs throughout the entire Club across all departments during the shift in which he/she manages. If an employee issue arises, the MOD must address the situation appropriately and inform the department manager immediately, especially if corrective action is necessary.
- Ensures member satisfaction through outstanding customer service, complaint resolution, and proactive measures that are timely, effective, and efficient.
- Communicates effectively with members, co-workers, and management team in a friendly and positive manner always.
- Upholds confidentiality and privacy of all company, employee, and vendor data, which if disclosed, may have significant internal or external effect.
- Ensures all departments are clean, organized, operating smoothly free of issues or concerns throughout his/her shift.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Education/Training:
- High school degree or equivalent or working towards obtaining the degree.
- May be asked to hold current and valid Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearances.
- May be asked to hold current and valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Must successfully pass all relevant/required background screenings which may include, but not limited to, credit, criminal, driving, and drug screening.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a Country Club preferred. Must be trainable.
- 1-2 yrs. supervisory experience required.

· Physical demands include the ability to see (clarity of vision at 20 feet or more, possess three-dimensional vision, and be able to identify and distinguish colors), sit, talk (ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word), hear (ability to perceive the nature of sounds), stand for long periods of time, walk, handle, feel reach, bend, stoop, and lift, carry, push or pull items weighing 50 pounds or less.
