Cloud Strategy Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing infrastructure, strategic challenges, services, customers, and skill sets to make informed decisions on cloud infrastructure and strategy
• Work with teams to implement an IT governance model that guides the expansion of cloud architecture and services
• Document the architecture and socializes architectural standards and capabilities with key stakeholders
• Perform system administration, automation, and development tasks for the cloud management platform (CMP)
• Work with and customer personnel to facilitate migrations to the cloud infrastructure

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with public cloud infrastructure, such as
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Terraform
• Ability to integrate cloud/DevOps platforms with third party tools
• Experience with AWS governance and best practices (IAM, organizations, networking architectures, and cost management controls)
• Experience of Azure governance and best practices (RBAC, Azure AD, networking architectures, and cost management controls)
• Advanced knowledge of automation tools, including configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) and infrastructure provisioning (AWS CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Terraform)
• Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell / CLI)

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems AND 8 years of technical architecture experience and relevant hands-on engineering

Location: Columbia, SC.
This job is primarily an onsite role. You will be required to work at an onsite location. This position may allow up to 25% remote work.
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
