Position Background: This is a hands-on role and includes the translation of requirements into working and maintainable solutions for our prime contractor, L3Harris Integrated Mission System, and their Cyber Systems Solution Area. This position will be in support of advanced technology development in secure enterprise cloud, tactical edge cloud compute, secure tactical, and mobile embedment solutions. The selected candidate will apply technical proficiency across various stages of our SDLC, gather requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and scope tasks.
The selected candidate will be working as a key team member & scrum master on a Scrum team and will be instrumental in setting our direction and strategy for product and infrastructure development. Essential Functions: Perform software architecture leadership, Scrum master duties, technology mentoring to the software team Integrate existing cloud native SW to work within an AWS environment and use AWS special CDS-like features Support definition and development of an AWS-based MLSaaS Demo Update SW Architecture for data labeling process to move from file oriented to attribute-level labeling Update architectural design for composable file Support L3Harris patent application for composable file Support (TBSL) patent application Design, develop, code, integrate, and test SW to meet requirements and DevSecOps environment compliance Prepare, check, and coordinate release of SW support documentation to appropriate program and company standards Troubleshoot and maintain existing software Configure and integrate cloud native SW for an embedded environment Investigate, architect, and implement equivalent SELinux data protection principles/function onto K8s Derive computer system functional requirements Provide liaison with computer vendors to resolve problems Modification and maintenance of EMLS virtual development environment Integrate Commercial Transfer CDS devices as part of the solutionBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of Software Engineering experience U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
Experience developing software for cloud, desktop, and web applications with an object-oriented programming language 2+ years of demonstrated ability leading small to medium sized software development teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of network architectures and protocols Knowledge of Cloud software architecture and orchestration design Experience developing RESTful web APIs Experience with technology similar to: Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Javascript, Kong, jQuery, Angular JS, PostgreSQL, XML, Jenkins, Wireshark, Junit, SoapUI, Selenium, Cucumber, Git, JBoss web server, Linux, microservice development, CSS, MyBatis, Maven Experience debugging web applications Ability for limited ad hoc travel for lab configuration support, demo support, etc. Preferred Additional Skills Experience with static code analysis, code coverage tools, and automated test frameworks such as in a DevSecOps environment Familiarity with Cloud Identity and Access Management concepts and protocols.
