Job Summary: As a Clinical Trial Order Management Specialist reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing processes related to our client's high-quality myopia management spectacle lenses. Your responsibilities include receiving Clinical Trial orders, coordinating with suppliers, and fulfilling Clinical Trial orders. Additionally, you will work closely with the Clinical Operations Manager on various tasks associated with Clinical Trial orders.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate documentation for clinical studies, including study status reports and listings on ClinicalTrials.gov.
- Manage Clinical Trial orders, ensuring metrics are maintained, and orders are processed efficiently.
- Handle the receipt inspection of lenses, documenting and labeling according to standard procedures.
- Coordinate with the lab on fit/finishing of lenses and ensure compliance with study requirements.
- Maintain Clinical Trial order spreadsheets, updating the Clinical Operations Manager on order status.
- Order and manage inventory of lenses and frames, including special orders per Clinical Trial requirements.
- Keep Investigational Site frame portfolios up to date, identifying replacements for out-of-stock frames.
- Serve as a contact with frame suppliers, ensuring effective communication and order placement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in Clinical Trial medical device handling and control.
- Experience in data entry in electronic management systems.
- Previous experience in handling and inspecting lenses or optical devices.
- Optician training is preferred; experience in an optical lab is a plus.
- Education:
- College degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) in English.
- Adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements, understanding of Clinical Trial masking.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and GMPs.
- Basic computer systems knowledge, skilled in data entry and electronic inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and customer advocacy mindset.
- Ability to prioritize work to optimize customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of simple measurement and inspection equipment in the optical industry.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in major international languages is a plus.
