Summary of Job Duties:
The Clinical Therapist Supervisor for the Women's Mental Health Clinic in the Psychiatric Research Institute works under the supervision of the Director of Outpatient Programs to coordinate and implement the Clinic's daily functions in the areas of staff supervision, program policies and procedures, assessment and referrals, and training.
This position will also provide direct clinical therapy care to patients enrolled in UAMS services. These services include diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention to patients at PRI. Direct and indirect clinical services are provided in the office unless remote work agreement is available upon hire. Must have the ability to make decisions related to treatment planning. Must understand Mental Health diagnosis and treatment. Adaptable technological skills are required. In addition, the Clinical Therapist Supervisor will be responsible for ongoing communications with their supervisor and other members of the treatment team. Completes clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Participates in staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and continuing education activities as needed to maintain quality provision and coordination of care as well as professional licensure and/or certification. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The Clinical Therapist Supervisor completes clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with Medicaid, insurance, Joint Commission, program, and departmental policies and procedures. This may include participation in administrative tasks such as medical record reviews, treatment outcomes projects, and program development projects in addition to direct service-related documentation. The Clinical Therapist Supervisor works with administrative support and utilization management staff as needed to facilitate scheduling, prior and continuing review authorization of services, and transfer/referral of clients to other programs as needed. They will assist with other duties as assigned.

- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- 3 years of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, including 1 year of supervisory experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
- LCSW or LPC Licensure
- CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire
