Clinical Therapist Contractual, Tele-Health Option

Lapeer County Community Mental Health is currently searching for Master’s Level Contractual Therapist for either in person or remote work. Offering part time opportunities, willing to be flexible during core business hours. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Michigan

This position provides clinical assessment, therapy, and case management services to persons with mental health disabilities.

Essential Functions

· Provides clinical intake assessments

· Schedules and conducts person centered planning activities

· Develops individual plans of service, amending and updating as indicated

· Provides clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy

· Provides ongoing case management services as required

· Participates in triage services, providing assessment, crisis intervention, and referral services

· Provides clinical consultation to other staff as required

· Develops and maintains effective working relationships with other community agencies

· Completes clinical documentation in a timely manner, consistent with agency, state, and federal requirements

Other Functions

• · Compiles and prepares reports as assigned
• · Participates in training and continuing education opportunities as assigned
• · Other duties as assigned by the Mental Health Supervisor

Employment Qualifications

Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or mental health-related discipline.

Other Requirements:

• · Licensure or certification in professional discipline
• · Good organizational skills
• · Ability to write and speak effectively

Fee for service and reimbursement for no show appointments

Limited License: $40 per session

Full License, PC $40 per session

Full License, LMSW $55 per session
