Clinical Therapist

Orchard Lake Psychology, a reputable mental health practice, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Outpatient Therapist to join our team. This position is 100% virtual, providing the opportunity to work remotely and offer flexible scheduling to clients. As a 1099 contractor, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing virtual therapy services to individuals seeking support for a variety of mental health concerns, preferably specialized in one area of study.

Position Overview:

As a licensed LLMSW/ LMSW/ LPC in Michigan, you will provide virtual psychotherapy services to clients seeking support for various mental health concerns. You will have the opportunity to work independently, with the assurance of regular supervision if needed and weekly case consultations. Our team is collaborative, ensuring you have the resources and guidance needed to excel in your role.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (LMSW or LLMSW) or Professional Counseling (LPC) from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Previous experience in providing outpatient therapy services is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to establish rapport with clients effectively.
• Proficiency in utilizing virtual therapy platforms and technology.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in therapy practice.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Specialization is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual psychotherapy sessions with clients across Michigan.
• Collaborate with our supportive team to enhance your clinical skills.
• Engage in optional weekly case consultations to discuss cases, share insights, and learn from peers.
• Utilize provided administrative and billing team support for insurance claims and collections.
• Benefit from free marketing efforts to help grow your client base.
• Participate in comprehensive training to familiarize yourself with our platform and protocols.
• Attain independent malpractice insurance and updated CAQH profile.
• Provide updated Psychology Today profile.

Compensation:

The compensation for the Clinical Outpatient Therapist position will be structured as a 1099 contractor arrangement. For LMSW/LLMSW/LPC the fee split will be set at 60/40, where the therapist will receive 60% of the session fee with minimum of 15 patients weekly , and the remaining 40% will be retained by Orchard Lake Psychology. As therapists build their caseload and see over 20 patients weekly, the fee split will increase to 65/35, providing therapists with over 20 patients with 65% of the session fee.
