Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, The Clinical Supervisor provides coaching and supervision in a clinical and administrative capacity using the high-fidelity Wraparound care coordination model for the Continuum of Care. and provides direct supervision to Wraparound Facilitators and Wraparound Team Lead(s).
The Clinical Supervisor duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Supervising staff to include preparing performance planning and evaluation documents and related personnel paperwork. Coaching, counseling and training employees. Establishing and monitoring work processes. Implementing management policies and initiatives and promoting teamwork.
  • Providing supervision and coaching for up to 7 staff utilizing the Wraparound model.
  • Providing clinical oversight for services including the review of medical necessity, Medicaid Targeted Case Management, assessments, crisis plans, Rehabilitative Behavior Health Services, and Plan of Cares according to agency best practice and Medicaid standards.
  • Obtaining certification as a State Wraparound coach and remain in good standing with National Wraparound requirements and SC Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation
  • Performing other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to determining appropriateness of referrals, contracted services, service note review, productivity reporting and youth assignment.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
A master's degree in a human services or social services related field with at least two (2) years of experience with case management, two (2) years of experience with children with complex emotional and/or behavioral challenges, and one (1) year of supervisory experience.
OR a master's degree in a human services or social services related field with one (1) year of High-Fidelity Wraparound case management experience and one (1) year of experience working with children with complex emotional and/or behavioral health.

Incumbent must be licensed and in good standing as a LMSW, LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT in South Carolina. Incumbent will obtain certification as a State Wraparound coach within established time frame and must remain in good standing with National Wraparound requirements and SC Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation.
  • Thorough knowledge of the range and scope of services provided by the various agencies and programs serving youth with complex emotional/ behavioral health challenges.
  • Considerable knowledge, skills and experience in clinical treatment or care coordination services.
  • Considerable knowledge of the unique treatment needs of youth with mental health challenges and their families.
  • Considerable knowledge of agency administrative policies and procedures.
  • Ability to provide clinical oversight and supervision to staff of varying backgrounds, training and experience.
  • Position may require employee to work evenings and weekends
  • Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license. Position requires routine driver duties.
  • Position may require overnight travel, evening and weekend work.
  • Incumbent may be required to report to work during emergency or hazardous weather situations.
  • Certification of a negative TB test is required prior to employment.
