As a Talent Acquisition Generalist, you will play a key role in driving Wake Orthopaedic’s success by identifying and attracting top talent. You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience while meeting staffing needs efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and candidate preferences.
- Create and post job advertisements on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
- Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist in employer branding initiatives to enhance Wake Orthopaedics reputation as an employer of choice.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in talent acquisition and HR practices.
- Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and networking events to promote our brand and attract talent.
- Conduct background checks and reference checks as required.
- Coordinate meaningful partnerships with educational institutions
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities.
- Assist in the development and revision of job descriptions and recruitment materials.
- Executes human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Creates and integrate employee appreciation programs.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, talent management, and employment law.
- Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct, grievances, organizational change, and other employee relations matters
- Assist in communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods (required).
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resources related work (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (required).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously (required).
- Proficient in using HR software and recruitment tools (desired).
- Solid working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (required).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities (required).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or years of experience in talent acquisition or a similar role.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
SHRM: 6 to 12 months of hire
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Full Time (40 hours per week); Monday-Friday, 8:00am -5:00pm. Additional hours, overtime, and weekend work may be required to meet business needs.
Not a remote position, but flexibility will be provided case by case.
