Clinical Social Worker Or Clinical Psychologist

Job Details: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)

Job Location: Albuquerque Job Corps Center (Albuquerque, NM)

Job Background:

Mental health provider for the wellness center at the Shriver Job Corps Center, a no-cost program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The hours at the clinic fall between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. We offer excellent hourly compensation, and professional liability.

Responsibilities:

· early identification and diagnosis of mental health problems

· basic mental health care

· mental health promotion and prevention

· utilize the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) approach that includes short-term counseling with an employability focus

· work 36 hours per week or upon agreement

· collaborate with medical and wellness center staff

Qualifications:

· Must have a clinical license in NM

· Must have a Master’s (LCSW) or Doctorate (PhD or PsyD)

· Must have 1 year experience with adolescents under license

· Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain CPR certification

· Must be willing to go through a background check
