The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care through Quality Improvement initiatives. This position involves daily monitoring of all inpatient care, reporting directly to the Regional Medical Director, and educating staff on Quality Improvement measures. The Director of Clinical Services plays a critical role in promoting and maintaining the highest standards of patient care in their organization. 


  • Develop and maintain a regional Quality Improvement program and provide training and support to ensure compliance with corporate and state QI activities. 
  • Collaborate with site staff to develop standards, guidelines, and protocols, and identify clinical issues that require corporate support for resource development. 
  • Participate in focused studies and coordinate with corporate QI Director to meet program objectives and communicate changes to the programs. 
  • Evaluate the Quality Improvement program annually using the evaluation tool and identify unique site needs for accommodations. 
  • Assist in training staff on the judicious use of clinical resources and post orders in accordance with site contracts. 

Education

  • Must be graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.

Experience

  • Two years of experience in Quality Improvement preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Must have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state. Prefer CPQA Certification. Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification. Also must obtain and maintain security clearance.
