CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to join our ophthalmology research team.
Do you have a background as a lab assistant, medical scribe, medical assistant or ophthalmic assistant? This opportunity provides the opportunity for growth and new challenges.
The Clinical Research Technician will work closely with the Principal Investigator and other study team members to facilitate the successful execution of Clinical Research studies in ophthalmology.
Responsibilities:

• Coordinate aspects of study start-up, conduct, and close-out according to study protocols, GCP, and FDA regulations
• Screen, recruit, and enroll study participants, ensuring compliance with inclusion/exclusion criteria
• Coordinate study visits and procedures, including scheduling, tracking, and communicating with study participants and their families
• Collect, document, and manage study data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality
• Ensure adherence to study timelines, procedures, and protocols, and communicate progress and issues to the study team in a timely and effective manner
• Assist with the preparation of IRB submissions, study reports, and other regulatory documents as needed
• Assist with study-related supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring availability, proper use, and maintenance
• Attend study-related meetings and conferences, and represent the study team in a professional and knowledgeable manner
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with study team members, study participants, and other stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned

A successful candidate for CLINICAL RESEARCH TECHNICIAN* – OPHTHALMOLOGY* has the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in biology, health science or similar is preferred.
• A committed work history that shows longevity and growth
• Experience in a fast-paced lab, healthcare, or medical office environment. Other disciplines may be considered.
• Proven ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, technicians, physicians, and outside departmental staff
• Experience with scribing preferred but not required.
• Familiarly with computer software and the ability to learn new systems quickly (Electronic health record experience preferred)
• Able to remain focused and organized
• Able to stand with mobility for extended periods of time
• The ability to work at different work locations during the day on occasion- clean DMV and/or transportation required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
