Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Clinical Research Physician Liaison at Wake Research, an M3 company. This position is remote with travel.

M3 Wake Research is an integrated network of premier investigational sites meeting the Clinical Research needs of global biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical and Clinical Research organizations (CROs). M3 Wake Research, Inc. is one of the largest independent Clinical Research multi-site companies in US, with close to 30 owned and managed research sites across the country that is continuing to grow through acquisitions and uncompromising commitment to careful planning and execution in accordance with regulatory compliance. 

Conducting studies since 1984, M3 Wake Research owns a proprietary patient database of potential clinical trial participants across USA. As of today, our board-certified physicians have completed more than 7,000+ successful clinical trials, while consistently exceeding sponsor expectations for integrity, timeliness, subject enrollment, human protection, and expeditious delivery of accurate evaluable data.

Job Description

The Clinical Research Physician Liaison will act as the key link between M3 Wake Research and healthcare professionals. The goal of the Physician Liaison is to increase the visibility and awareness of M3 Wake Research with medical professionals that practice in proximity to our research sites and encourage them to participate with us in Clinical Research trials. S/he will also serve as a key educational resource, providing medical professionals with information on the clinical trial process and the rules and regulations under which M3 Wake Research operates. The position will involve travel to meet with M3 Wake Research Sites and medical providers likely to partner with the sites located across USA. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Liaise with and persuade targeted doctors to work with us in performing clinical trials and referring participants for our trials
  • Provide information about the company, what is involved in Clinical Research and the expectations and benefits for clinicians that work with us
  • Attend meetings and conference calls with site leadership and management
  • Work with marketing and business development to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
  • Build positive trust relationships between site staff and the surrounding medical community
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with latest site trial projects
  • Develop and deliver provider educational programs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary modifications to improve outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Maintains client confidentiality according to state statutes, federal regulations, and policies and procedures to protect patient's rights
     

Qualifications

Education and Training Required:

  • BS degree in relevant field

Minimum Experience: 

  • 3 years work experience as a Physician Liaison, Pharmaceutical Rep or in Medical Sales

Knowledge, Skill, Ability:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective educational programs
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH-Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and ISOs. Solid teamwork, organizational, interpersonal, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. An ability to consume, absorb, and analyze large amounts of information
  • Ability to multi-task, work under time constraints, work independently and cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Advanced project management and organizational skills, with motivation to achieve results
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills - effective listener with ability to engage with individuals at various levels with organization
  • Ability to positively adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment and learn new processes
