Heritage Biologics is a dual accredited home-infusion specialty pharmacy, including bleeding disorders, and the recognized leader in Rare Disease Outcomes Management (RDOM). We provide preeminent value-based pharmacy and nursing services nationwide. Heritage is credited with developing the industry's first formalized Pharmacy Patient Experience (RxPx) program designed to ensure accountable performance-driven care for patients.
We are looking to expand our bleeding disorder-related business and are hiring in the Kansas City, St. Louis, and Iowa territory. The position is remote, but does include travel throughout territory and to Heritage Biologics main location in Lee’s Summit, MO.
Job Overview
Managing Heritage Biologics relationships with both current and potential healthcare practitioners and patients. The Clinical Relationship Manager (CRM) will serve as a service point of contact for healthcare providers and patients regarding pharmacy and infusion services. The Clinical Relationship Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Hemophilia Services. In this role, he/she will not have access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Electronic Protected Health Information (EPHI).
Job Responsibilities
Relationship management
- Maintain regular client contact with potential and current patients and all contacts documented in company’s CRM
- Periodic in-person visits in conjunction with sales cycle expectations
- Attend meetings with all stakeholders including patients, chapter staff, healthcare providers & hemophilia treatment center staff
Territory planning
- Develop strategic sales plan annually based on quarterly and annual goals
- Update strategic plan regularly based on current performance
- Maintain detailed customer database including complete demographic/medical information
- Determine ROI for community events and funding
Customer Service
- Maintain knowledge of shareholders within assigned territory
- Be personable with all customers and visitors and maintain professionalism during all interactions
- Maintain regular contact with industry contacts
- Follow Heritage Biologics’s mission and vision when representing company
Community relations
- Maintain a consistent presence within assigned territory
- Manage an event calendar to be present at all chapter annual meetings
- Stay up-to-date on industry news, drug development, community needs, any information that could potentially affect business
- Volunteer time at one community event annually
Patient advocacy
- Work with internal team to resolve patient needs, coordinate service requirements and product delivery
- Provide intel for new resources and community needs as seen in the field
- Be timely in responding to both patient and internal team requests within 24 hours
- Expect customer interactions outside of normal business hours
Administrative tasks
- Utilize CRM daily, maintain customer database, maintain weekly call log, submit monthly expense reports, complete post-event surveys, check and respond daily to electronic messages (email, text, social media, etc.)
- Maintain detailed calendar in Outlook
- Attend internal meetings regularly including team and company-wide calls and quarterly in-person sales training meetings
- Manager/internal team requests completed thoroughly & on time
- Complete annual divisional/company training modules

- Maintain ethical reflection of company’s mission and vision in both professional and personal settings
- Show respect at all times for team members, leaders, patients, chapter staff, healthcare providers & all internal and external staff in behavior and speech
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of experience
- Performance and documented success in a previous Sales and/or Account Management position(s)
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Proof of Auto Insurance
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or member, of the business community
- Mathematical skills: Ability to solve simple math problems and analyze numbers as they relate to necessary job functions
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in the bleeding disorders / healthcare industry
- Formal sales training

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
