SalaryWe are hiring a Clinical Psychologist to perform VA Telehealth exams disability (also known as compensation and pension C&P exams) for Veterans.
All exams must be performed by a state licensed psychologist with a PhD or a PsyD and have graduated from an APA accredited school. New York state license is a must
Hours:18-40 hours per week with a completely flexible schedule. You choose your hours between ~8a-8p seven days a week. The need is primarily telehealth, however face to face opportunities may be available.
Pay range: $140-160 per hour. You may determine patient spacing depending on your experience, efficiency, and comfort level. Face to face rate of $175/hr
Exams: Involve reviewing records and taking histories to determine the degree of disability. Historical evidence and chart review are a big part of these exams. There is no treatment and no follow ups are involved.
Common conditions evaluated include PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Prior C&P experience is a big plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
Low stress job with no calls. Providers will enjoy serving Veterans in their community!
