CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. Responsibilities
*THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS*
Assesses, researches, coordinates/facilitates, implements, and evaluates educational and professional
development programs, services and systems as established by CHI Health nursing division and/or
campus leadership.
2. Acts as role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader to the campus and CHI
Health nursing division.
3. Serves as a consultant for organizational, divisional, and system initiatives and program development
as related to nursing practice.
4. Actively seeks out evidence based practice and findings and applies to clinical excellence and education.
5. Provides clinical expertise and leadership to quality improvement initiatives.
6. Coordinates and facilitates nursing transitions to practice and ongoing professional development
through support of central onboarding, clinical orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency
assessment, and preceptor and mentor programs.
7. Contributes to the development and maintenance of educational tools and resources, integrating adult
learning theories, organizational development principles and system approach.

Baccalaureate in Nursing
Completion of MSN program within 5 years of start date
Required Licensure and Certifications
Must hold a valid RN compact multistate license to practice in
Nebraska, Iowa or North Dakota depending on work state.
Basic Life Support – refer to policy “Licensed, Certified, and Registered
Employees” for acceptable life support cards.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Nursing education experience demonstrating progressive experience
in the development and implementation of clinical education
programs
Minimum three years relevant nursing experience
Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Knowledge and application of advanced nursing skills
Ability to critically think in complex situations
PREFERRED Qualifications
MSN with emphasis in Education
Specialty professional nursing certification
Pay Range
$28.7515-$41.20/ hour
