Job Description: Clinical Laboratory Assistant Instructor
Our institution is seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Laboratory Assistant Instructor to teach students the proper skills and etiquette to be successful in this role. As an instructor, you will be responsible for educating students on the proper techniques for phlebotomy and processing blood. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, with exceptional communication skills to effectively teach and mentor students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach students the proper skills and techniques for phlebotomy and processing blood
- Create a positive learning environment that is conducive for student success
- Develop and implement lesson plans, activities, and assessments to ensure that students achieve learning outcomes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students to ensure their success in the program
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills
- Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct in all interactions with students
-Demonstrate the anatomy of the body parts
-Demonstrate urine testing and or in house testing
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant
- Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and blood processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with instructional design and teaching methodologies
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and practices
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or a related field
- Relevant certification or licensure required

Requirements:- Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience as a Medical Assistant or similar/more advanced practice (PCA, EMT, Physician's Assistant, LPN, etc)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous teaching experience is not required
- Authorized to work in the US
