Responsibilities
- Provides a positive and professional representation of the organization
- Responsible for researching and resolving customer inquiries via email or telephone
- Promotes a culture of safety for patients and employees through proper identification, reporting, documentation and prevention.
- Responsible for clinical and clerical data entry.
- Ensure all clinical data is accurately entered into Laboratory information system.
- Enter and update information on patients and samples into laboratory information system.
- Resolve and document problems with requisition forms.
- Maintain proper filing systems according to CAP, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain work area and all documents in compliance with protocols, SOP’s, CAP, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations or guidelines.
- Maintain work area in clean and organized condition.
- Responsible for reading and keeping up to date with all required SOP’s.
- Other duties as assigned.
