As Southeast Orthopedic Specialists continues to grow, we are hiring a Clinical Intake Coordinator (Full-Time) for our Southside Clinic located in Jacksonville, FL! Listed below are the qualifications/requirements needed in order to be considered for this role:
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Clinical Intake Coordinator is responsible for Responsible for rooming patients in a professional, timely and friendly manner. Also documents reason for visit, vitals, as well as past medical, social, and surgical history.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Escorts patients from the waiting area to the exam room, verifying patient name, DOB, and body part being examined.
- Initiates patient visit by recording chief complaint, body part being examined, and symptoms.
- Interviews patients to obtain all pertinent information, including history of present illness. Enters all patient data into the EMR system, including medical history, surgical history, social history, medications and allergies
- Obtain patient’s height and weight.
- Pull up patient charts and diagnostic studies on the exam room computers.
- Ensure proper room set up, specific to each provider’s preference.
- Clean and restock all exam rooms at the end of each clinic, which includes wiping down exam tables, changing all pillow
covers, spraying down each room with Lysol, and ensuring all medical supplies are in the proper place and well stocked. - Draw up injections, as needed.
- Must have a good understanding of how to operate within the EHR and PACS systems.
- Able to add orders as needed
- Various other clerical/clinical duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
- Previous work experience in clinic environment preferred.

- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
