Clinical Informatic Nurse Specialist; 1.0 Fte, Day Shift

The Clinical Informatic Nurse Specialist applies nursing experience with assessment, interventions, outcomes, and care planning to optimize information flow to improve patient outcomes. Evaluate and communicate needs of the region, serving as a liaison between the end user and system services. Analyze regional impact of both minor changes and large system initiatives.  Support users in application of technology (e.g., Electronic Health Record) to support communication and decision-making during patient care delivery.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• WI Registered Nurse
• 3 years' experience in an ambulatory and/or inpatient setting working with providers, nurses, and other clinical personnel
• Project leadership experience
• Performance improvement experience
• Electronic Health Record Utilization
• Customer Service focused
• Interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Epic experience
• Experience implementing and maintaining software applications in a healthcare or business setting
• Epic Certification(s)
• ANA certification in Informatics
• Project management
