Clinical Engineering Technician Manager

Insight Global Health is searching for a Clinical Engineering Manager in the Easton, MD area.

• Reporting to the Director of Clinical Engineering, the Clinical Engineering Manager, manages the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Engineering Department for providing a quality, cost effective program that meets or exceeds the quality and financial expectations of the customer and the hospital Clinical Engineering Program.
• This position is responsible for providing an aggressive Clinical Engineering program that lowers annual maintenance cost, increases equipment life cycles, and above all, provides the highest level of customer service.
• This position provides technology assessments, purchasing assistance, and equipment safety and life cycle management. This person would also manage departmental financial responsibilities, human resources processes, would oversee the development and maintenance of departmental quality improvement program and external regulation compliance and then also provides managerial and technical Support.
• This position involvers overseeing a team of around 5 Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) and would involve some travel between somewhat local sites (Chestertown and Queenstown).

*All gas/mileage is expensed and reimbursable and all travel-time is paid.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM

Must Haves

• At least 4 years of experience working supporting Clinical Engineering service-related work (initializing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining)
• Holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience working in a hospital/healthcare setting
