Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Clinical Educator to join our team on a Per Diem basis, remotely.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Educator will ensure that customers who purchase equipment from Laborie will use it as suggested and to their satisfaction, while also offering educational guidance to optimize customer usage of products. This individual maintains a high level of understanding on the company's portfolio, in addition to the new product development opportunities. They will provide clinical support to the sales team and the customer. Travel will be required to facilitate collaboration with customers, partners, and prospective clients.
How you contribute:
- Teach content as needed within clinical expertise to facilitate customer knowledge, and safe practices.
- Provide in-service of Laborie products to customers in the hospital setting.
- Develop core education to address current product use in hospitals.
- Plan, prepare, and maintain materials for use in educational programs for accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
- Identify and evaluate instructional materials in all types of media and formats.
- Consult with Laborie customers to promote quality patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with team to recommend educational strategies for implantation of existing and new products.
- Ensure that educational programs are congruent with Laborie's missions, values, and goals.
- Lead committees,
- work groups, and/or projects related to the implementation of educational activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Maintains an active RN license
- 5 years of clinical experience on Labor and Delivery and/or NICU, highly desirable
- Experience placing IUPCs is preferred
- Previous teaching experience, highly desirable
- Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills
- Talent for building long-term relationships
- The ability to travel
