Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team. This role will be responsible for the management of our Compassion Center, administrative tasks, manage cases, and supervise a team to ensure top tier Behavioral Health services, thus driving operational excellence, ensuring quality management, and enhancing overall Center value.
Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and maintain departmental strategic plans in line with the goals of the Hispanic Health Council.
Provide patient case management, including direct 1:1 psychotherapy to clients desiring assistance in coping with severe personal, emotional, and social relationship difficulties.
Performs mental health assessments and counseling for adults, including victims of Human Trafficking.
Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team members, including external partners, to provide care, referral services, and psychoeducation services to a diverse population, triaging where necessary.
Proactively seeks Bx grant funding and Center expansion, collaborating with the CMO and CFO on budget management.
Supervises clinic programs, assessing performances of programs and staff and providing feedback for increased operational performance.
Ensures clinical caseload and filing compliance.
Uphold ethical guidelines and ensure ongoing adherence to patient privacy regulations.
Conduct periodic evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the team to boost productivity and quality of services.
Develops policies and procedures in accordance with State and Federal guidelines, presenting to the Administration and Board of Directors.
Performs related work as required.
The hours of work are 35 per week. Required to travel to site locations (as needed).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of evidence-based practices, including trauma informed care framework
Knowledge and ability to work with co-occurring populations (chronic health conditions, mental health, and substance use)
Knowledge of technical platforms (Microsoft Suite: Excel, Teams, etc.)
Ability to work independently with a people of diverse cultures, ages, and economic backgrounds
Ability to display provide excellent care services to behaviorally challenged clients
Ability to make routine decisions and determine appropriate action(s)
Ability to work flexible work hours including pre-scheduled nights and weekends
Strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work or related field and three (5) years of post-graduate clinical counseling experience in general patient care, including crisis intervention.
Must have and maintain a valid CT LCSW License
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HIV patient care
Experience with mental health population
Experience with program oversight
Bilingual - Spanish
