The Clinical Director is a registered professional nurse who ensures quality of patient care in the home. Primary function is for the overall administration of the clinical departments and monitoring of appropriate staffing and productivity. Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family and referring agency.
Essential Functions:
- Directs and coordinates clinical departments in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in activities relevant to services furnished.
- Provides direction to subordinates, ensuring the continuity of services by appropriate health care personnel.
- Monitors QAPI Program and assures appropriate corrective measures are performed.
- Monitors systems and identifies problem areas to Administrator.
- Promotes and educates in coordinating/performing patient care activities.
- Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.
- Other duties as assigned by Administrator.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
- Be a registered nurse (RN) licensed in Texas.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a registered nurse within the last 36 months. Management experience preferred.
- Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrates proven decision making skills.
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with nursing experience and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
