Job Title: Clinical Coordinator
TASC - Region 1 – Northeastern, NC
Hours: Full Time, M-F, Exempt
Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. seeks a qualified Clinical Coordinator to provide Clinical Supervision services within our Justice Services program. This position will cover Clinical Supervision duties for all staff in Northeastern North Carolina, where Coastal Horizons Center provides TASC Services. Most of the tasks for this position can be performed remotely, with the exception of face-to-face Regional/Departmental meetings, face-to-face training for newly hired care managers, scheduled in-person supervision with supervisees, and any other tasks deemed necessary by the Directors.
The Clinical Coordinator, working with the Clinical Director and other members of the Clinical Team, has the primary responsibility of:
- Ensuring that eligible participants in services are provided high-quality, cost-effective, and need-appropriate services.
- Providing individual and group clinical supervision, maintaining supervision records, and conducting review of charts and clinical notes provided by Coastal Horizons Center TASC staff.
- Collaborating with supervisees to create and regularly review and update Person-Centered Staff Development Plans to facilitate professional development.
- Clinical training of newly-hired TASC Care Managers and assistance with NCASPPB registration.
- Overseeing and assisting with NCASPPB credentialing for all supervisees, including preparing and motivating staff to take the IC & RC exam.
- Being the primary contact with staff for day-to-day clinical operations.
- Serving as a temporary Care Manager for vacant positions as needed.
- Being a participant in the Coastal Horizons Criminal Justice Services Leadership teams and attending all applicable monthly meetings.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree required in social work, psychology, human services, or related field, along with preferred licensure (CSI or CCS). Persons with LCAS are eligible to apply with the understanding that they will register for the CSI credential and actively work toward a full CCS during their employment. Preference will be given to LCSWs.
- Minimum of 2 years providing direct counseling services in the area of criminal justice/substance abuse services.
