**Position is hybrid**
Hours/Pay Period: 80
The Clinical Coding Compliance Auditor identifies and performs audits in regulatory compliance risk areas. Areas of audits may include medical record documentation, coding accuracy, medical necessity, the effectiveness of the Community Healthcare System Corporate Compliance Program, etc. Audits include the preparation of reports with findings and action plans for management.

The Clinical Coding Compliance Auditor identifies and performs audits in regulatory compliance risk areas. Areas of audits may include medical record documentation, coding accuracy, medical necessity, the effectiveness of the Community Healthcare System Corporate Compliance Program, etc. Audits include the preparation of reports with findings and action plans for management.
To qualify you must have:
- Minimum Associates degree in Health Information Technology required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- RHIT, RHIA, or CCS required.
- 3-5 years inpatient coding experience.
- Proficient in ICD-10 PCS coding.
- Epic experience preferred. Experience in billing preferred.
- Experience in data mining, analysis and report development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex and competing priorities.
- Intermediate MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
