Job Title:Clinical Applications Manager

Compensation (Based on experience and qualifications)

Location: South Chicago Clinic 9119 S. Exchange Ave Chicago, IL 60617

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Applications Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Clinical Applications Manager will be responsible for overseeing all clinical application services, including the organization's electronic health records (EHR) and supporting applications integral to clinical operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing data, improving collaboration, and enhancing patient outcomes across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains successful ongoing inter-departmental relationships, cooperates with other departments.
  • Works collaboratively with departments across the organization in assisting with project management at multiple stages, including the research and sourcing of vendors, testing, and implementation of new or current systems, products, and software
  • Develop and implement EHR training, staff and support program for newly onboarded staff and/or staff needing additional support to utilize EHR correctly
  • Promote emerging technology awareness amongst staff and business management by leading and implementation of electronic medical record (EMR) and clinical application special projects as assigned or identified
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures, forms, work methods and standards, and schedules to be followed by department staff; establish job priorities and coordinate workflows
  • Maintaining databases and other technologies directly involved in record storage, retrieval, and distribution

Compliance/Reporting & Data Analysis:

  • Analyzes data to predict trends and themes for continued monitoring and development to support clinical processes
  • Work in conjunction with the Quality Department in promoting the structure and education of end users of the Electronic Health Record to address HEDIS, UDS, and other quality measures
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis, utilizing spreadsheets and/or more specialized tools such as project management software and traceability solutions
  • Performing technical tasks such as creating business requirements documents, user training manuals and guides, and requirements traceability matrices
  • Delivering written and verbal presentations to an organization’s leadership to communicate key findings and updates on business process adjustments

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Health Information Management or related field, required.
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of progressive experience working in healthcare that promotes a high level of credibility with clinical professionals

Requirements:

Education and Experience
