Clinical Application Support Specialist

What Your Duties Will Look Like:

• Act as a resource for all staff and physicians to address software issues.
• Act as a resource to maximize software potential and to create enterprise or departmental efficiencies.
• Develops detailed reports to meet enterprise or departmental information needs.
• Act as liaison to request or terminate access to third-party systems such as hospital EMR.
• Participate in setup and implementation of new systems, upgrades, or modifications including evaluation and testing.
• Assist with training materials, procedures, and/or user training as required.
• Serve as EHR liaison for application issues, opens cases/tickets with EHR vendors and facilitate conversation between all Clinical Application vendors.
• Build strong relationships at supported facilities with core customer base (nurse, physicians, core team members, etc.) and facility leadership.
• Provide on-call assistance as needed

The Must Haves:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Training in basic technical operations or equivalent experience.
• Bachelors degree is strongly preferred.
• Two (2) years experience with practice management, EHR software, and the healthcare environment preferred.
• Experience in writing and modifying reports produced from software systems.
• Experience in medical billing and/or clinical practice is advantageous.
• Must be able to commute to the Beavercreek Office location.
