The Virtual RN facilitates inbound and outbound telephonic and computer communication with clinics, hospitals, patients, providers and consumers to deliver patient care that promotes wellness and safety.

 

Responsibilities

 

Virtual RN **Remote for NE Candidates**

Discharge Follow-up Calls-Clinics and Columbus Hospital 

 

1. Provides virtual patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
2. Accepts inbound communication such as calls from patients, pharmacies and other healthcare entities.
3. Performs outbound calls to notify patients of reviewed lab and imaging results according to protocols that require review of the patient chart to answer questions.
4. Performs telephone triage utilizing evidence based triage protocols.
5. Educates patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
6. Follows medication refill protocols and acts accordingly to those protocols.
7. Ensures accurate patient documentation.
8. Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Nursing.

Pay Range
$26.38 - $38.26 /hour
