Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical clinic. The Clinic Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong fiscal management skills, knowledge of medical office systems, and the ability to effectively manage human resources.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the clinic and staff, includigng scheduling, staffing, and patient flow
- Train employees on any new policies, procedures, or standards to be implemented across the entire clinic
- Keep medical professionals informed about healthcare
- Solve patient problems in a way that complements the mission of the clinic
- Triage daily workflow, follow up on pending med orders, cross-check all appts in Google calendar, review patient charts for accuracy (prescriber, pharmacy, records, etc.) prior to appt.
- Liaise with the partner pharmacies to address order discrepancies, patient questions, pricing, reporting, , and overall maintenance of these relationships
- Disseminate post-consultation protocol instructions to each patient after cross-checking the clinical note with the medication order, and resolving any discrepancies
- Assist in developing process workflows and oversees implementation of tasks, i.e. medical records, scheduling, prescription hold management, etc.
- Manage EMR reporting for Prescriber signoffs and med order holds, eRx favorites updates and profiles, clinical note improvements
- Monthly check-ins: input Dr schedules in Google calendar and make adjustments as needed.
- Complete special project execution and documentation, as needed (transferring patient records from G-Suite to EMR, scheduling appointments in DrChrono, improving patient materials, etc.)
- Maintain patient confidence by keeping patient records information confidential
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelors in business administration, other industry related field or a nursing degree with relevant management experience
- 3-5 years in telemedicine and managing a healthcare facility or clinic. Cancer care a plus
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff to perform their duties efficiently
- Strong understanding of the principles of project management
- Proven track record in managing a complex work environment of a telemedicine-based clinic
- Experience with management and compliance within a medical organization
- Thorough understanding of EMR and telemedicine
- Proficient in all G-Suite and MS Office applications
- Skilled in prescription and lab ordering processes with partner and third-party pharmacies
- Communicate effectively, multi-task and work under pressure is the key to success in this position, which also requires extreme attention to detail and a commitment to achieving consistent customer satisfaction
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products to include Microsoft Windows OS
- Ability to uphold HIPAA compliance

Pay: $64,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
