Job Title: Client Transporter
Department: Transportation
Reports to: Lead Office Manager, Clinical Director
This position is responsible for providing transportation for clients to appointments and related activities. Must be able to work collaboratively with a broad array of behavioral health professions, including social workers, psychiatrists, counselors, and psychologists. Must maintain working knowledge of Code of Maryland Annotated Regulations COMAR) and CARF standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Transports clients to and from appointments and related activities
· Provides supervision for the individuals on board the company vehicle.
· Knows all of the individuals on bus route by sight and name.
· Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance records of company vehicle
· Track and submit all company incidents as they occur.
· Completes daily attendance sheet of all consumers on route.
· Maintains a working rapport with clients. Transfers the individuals as needed.
· If necessary, utilizes approved intervention methods, as needed during a behavioral crisis, while driving.
· Reports to leadership any incontinence concerns that occur, ensuring a clean vehicle.
· Assist Outreach Coordinator with outreach and recruitment efforts
· Assist Lead Office Manager with intakes as needed
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED. Associates degree preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of driving experience, with zero points on current driving record

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals (clients and staff) of all ages, cultural backgrounds, educational and work experience.
REASONING ABILITY:
· Must have the ability to strategically, logically and realistically analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to situations. Must be able to consider all affected areas when determining solutions to issues that will be most beneficial to the client.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
