What to Expect:
- Client Tax Coordinators will be responsible for being the main point of contact for our tax clients. The Client Tax Coordinator will conduct onboarding calls to set expectations for our tax processes and provide the material needed in order to stay in compliance with tax deadlines.
- On a daily basis, a Client Tax Coordinator can expect to have between 2-4 scheduled calls with clients. On average, Client Tax Coordinators spend about 2 hours on the phone every day.
- Willingness and readiness to learn and grow in a dynamic, new career field with evolving practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 2 years of customer service background
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments for various client needs and requests
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of all G Suite, Word, and Excel
- Ability to establish rapport with our clients and build strong relationships with our clients in a friendly and confident manner
- Ability to prioritize work and complete duties accurately and timely
- Ability to work independently, without direct supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional-level work experience
- Previous experience in a client service-oriented field preferred
- Previous experience in a tax firm is a plus
- A/R and Invoicing experience a plus
- Salesforce CRM experience a plus
Job Duties:
- Provide customer service and be the point of contact for all tax-related services for our clients
- Schedule and perform welcome calls for new tax clients
- Respond to all correspondence within 1 business day
- Calling and/or corresponding via email with our clients to provide information, answer questions and/or follow through on requests (Client Tax Coordinators can expect to receive a higher volume of calls and emails during peak periods)
- Work with members of various internal departments to have client needs taken care of
- Documenting receipt of signed client documents
- Utilize the resources and knowledge of each of our professionals in their respective departments
- All other duties that may be assigned from time to time by management
Starting salary is $40k - $45k (based on experience)
