Job Summary:
The Client Support Technician is responsible for providingorganizational unique Communications and Information Systems support for AFLCMC Wright Patterson Air Force Base organizations for Information Technology (IT) functions. The candidate shall execute the work assigned under this contract from the customer, AFLCMC corporate, and Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) enterprise network perspective. The candidate shall provide information, best practices, standardized processes, and standardized configuration and disseminate information across AFLCMC customers.

Job Summary:
The Client Support Technician is responsible for providingorganizational unique Communications and Information Systems support for AFLCMC Wright Patterson Air Force Base organizations for Information Technology (IT) functions. The candidate shall execute the work assigned under this contract from the customer, AFLCMC corporate, and Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) enterprise network perspective. The candidate shall provide information, best practices, standardized processes, and standardized configuration and disseminate information across AFLCMC customers.
Primary Duties:
- Must be familiar with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers for initial training and computer system troubleshooting.
- Ensure all systems meet all the required security labelling and configuration.
- Install specialized software once it has been approved by the ISSO.
- Install new hardware and update equipment tracking database.
- Update and patch standalone Windows 10 systems.
Secondary Duties:
- Act as the Data Transfer Agent for writing media.
- Move equipment within the vaults as required.
- Validate hardware lists against current equipment locations.
- Work with ISSOs on equipment destruction documentation.
- Work with equipment custodians on cleaning up storage areas.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted routinely.
Nice to Haves:
- Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to pick up understanding of new tasks quickly.
- Effective listening skills and Attention to detail.
Education / Experience:
- Requires an Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Four (4) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two (2) years in technically related areas.
Security Clearance / Certification Requirements:
- MUST CURRENTLY POSSESS AND BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN a DoD TOP SECRET Clearance.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification required to start.
- US Citizenship is mandatory.
