- Prior experience in a Client Service position, preferably at an veterinary facility
- First point of contact with clients and referring veterinarians.
- Well organized, technology friendly and previous Avimark experience a plus.
- Emotionally intelligent, creating a compassionate and empathetic experience for our team and our clients.
- Optimistic and outgoing.
- Sense of urgency in meeting the needs of our clients and team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Phones (multi-line phone system, overhead paging, ability to multi-task in an ever changing environment)
- Professionalism in Hospitality, greeting and attending to the needs of our clients, patients and team members
- Ability to learn and memorize the names of all team members, doctor schedules, referring hospital information and so forth to provide excellent service and support
- Technology- ability to accurately type, make calls, route calls, convey messages, transcribe medical information and record medical and other information in a professional manner in medical records (Avimark), Word, E-mail and any other electronic method dictated by the needs of the operation
- Fax, E-File, Distribute incoming and outgoing records and information
- Strict confidentiality
- Handle RX refill requests and distribution to clients
- Ability to read and understand a veterinary medical record, including medical abbreviations and terminology
