We are seeking a full-time Client Service / Operations Manager to join our team who will be our first point of contact with clients and prospects. Salary and Benefits

  • The salary range will be $75K-90K, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all workflow in the office to ensure that our high Client Service standards are met
  • Process, monitor, and troubleshoot all Schwab service requests, money movements, and applications for new clients
  • Communicate with clients on outstanding requests and issues
  • Provide top notch Client Service with systematic follow up
  • Update and document tasks in our CRM – Redtail
  • Recommend process improvements for the firm on an ongoing basis – we want to hear how you can make the firm better!
  • Assist with compliance work after training period in conjunction with our outsource compliance group
  • Qualify prospects that contact the firm and assist with onboarding new clients using our documented systems and processes
  • Resolve issues effectively – seeing real problems and solving the problems in a practical and helpful manner
  • Paraplanning activities to support lead advisor with a pathway to associate advisor, if desired
  • Special projects such as tech stack review, creation of client surveys, analysis of marketing strategies, research ideas for client appreciation, etc.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in an RIA
  • MS Office skills with proficient Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients
  • Self-Starter with ability to manage your own time effectively – we do not micromanage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and a natural eye for details – nothing gets past you
  • Good problem solving and time management skills
  • Critical thinker who looks for process improvements
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects as well as individually assigned tasks to meet deadlines
  • NOT required, but would be a plus – experience with Schwab or Fidelity, Redtail, Orion, Sharefile, RightSignature, MoneyGuide Pro, Morningstar Advisor Workstation
  • Payroll, bookkeeping and/or HR experience a plus, but not required

The Process

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute phone interview conducted by our consultant who is the hiring manager for this position. If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates will be asked to take assessments in the process.
