Overview:
As a Client Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of top-notch service to our clients. This position involves handling client inquiries, managing administrative tasks, and collaborating with various internal departments to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing requests and providing timely and accurate information.
- Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in account management, including opening new accounts, processing transactions, and maintaining client records.
- Handle routine administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the Client Service department.
Problem Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve client issues in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex matters to higher levels of management when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client concerns are addressed promptly.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation related to client accounts and transactions.
Client Onboarding:
- Support the client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients and providing necessary guidance.
- Collaborate with team members to gather required documentation and information.
Client Education:
- Provide basic information to clients regarding financial products, services, and account features.
- Assist in organizing educational materials and resources for clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance or accounting
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Client first attitude
- High emotional intelligence
- Previous experience in a Client Service or administrative role
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player, collaborative, able to work in a small team environment
- Knowledge of financial products and basic understanding of wealth management concepts.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- 3 years’ experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
- 3 years of experience as a Client Service Associate with knowledge of Charles Schwab or another Broker Dealer
- 3 years’ experience with Orion or similar portfolio accounting software
